I knew I had to move my family to Michigan(Royal Oak area) from Las Vegas back in March of 2014, for my new job and I wanted to buy a home for my family. Not knowing anyone from the area to ask for a good referral, I naturally went on zillow in search of a realtor. The excellent reviews about Haig by the previous buyers and sellers were just the tip of the iceberg. This realtor truly goes above and beyond what is required. I knew I wouldn't be able to come in every weekend for house viewings and inspections, however, Haig reassured me that this wouldn't be a problem and it wasn't. As long as I liked a house from the pictures he would go to the home, take dozens of pictures and videos which made me feel like I was actually there myself without having to travel for 2000miles and spend money unnecessarily if at the end I didn't like the home. What is even more surprising is that he gave me his honest opinion without worrying about selling the house. Its remarkable to find a salesperson who is trying to first and foremost make his customer happy rather than his bank account. It seems like his philosophy is to make his clients pleased and everything else will follow. He is extremely knowledgeable and involved throughout the whole process. Did I mention that he also responds to texts, emails and phone calls within minutes? It also helped tremendously the fact that he was tech savvy since I had to do most of my paperwork electronically. This realtor works overtime to make sure his clients are satisfied. The first time my wife and I saw the house was at the day of the closing when we had just moved into town. The house was exactly as Haig had described from his personal walk through, it was even better than the pictures had depicted. My wife was extremely happy with the place, which is probably part of the reason why I am able to write this review. We hired Haig for both the sale of our home and the purchase of a new condo. He was instrumental in getting us above list on our home and devised a strategy that secured our new condo below list and beat out 8 other offers. He created so much pre-showing interest in our home that we had 18 appointments in less than 2 days. We accepted an offer and took the house off the market on the 3rd day. He worked tirelessly with the other agents to keep both deals clean and at closing was complimented by the other agents who both worked for large real estate firms. My husband and I are newly married, and had decided it was time to start looking to purchase our first home. We were referred to Haig by a recent client of his. I started looking up reviews of Haig to see what others had to say about him and I was instantly blown away with all of the excellent reviews. We decided to move forward with his services. From day one, Haig answered all questions and made purchasing a home an enjoyable and fun event in our lives. Whenever we found a home we wanted to see, he made it happen at the soonest possible time. I think there was only one instance that we weren’t able to see a house on the day it came available, and that had nothing to do with Haig’s efforts. If we had any questions we were instructed to text, call, or email at any time, day or night, and he would have our questions answered in an amazingly short time frame. His response time and reliability were unheard of from a service standpoint. Once we found our home, Haig worked on all the details and any hassles that occurred on the seller’s side as to make the process as easy as possible for us. We were able to close and get moved in at a perfect time to move out of our apartment and start our new life and none of it would’ve been possible without Haig’s excellent service and efforts to find us our home! Haig has the superb expertise to sell property with professionalism and successful results. Haig did everything possible to improve the appearance of the house we had up for sale. He even cleaned the house himself! Haig recommended to remove carpeting that was not esthetically pleasing. Essentially, Haig was able to bring an offer only 2 weeks after the house was vacant. Haig is a great realtor. I recently both a property in Rochester, MI and Haig was my buyer's agent. Usually house/property hunting is a stressful process. Haig made it really stress free and fun experience for me and my family. We start looking for a house, but along with the process we realized that the properties on the market doesn't fit our expectations and budget. Then we decide to buy a vacant land and build our dream house. Haig really help us understand all the cons and pros of building a house. Looking for an empty lot is not the same as looking for a house. In todays economy, you can have a hard time finding a way to finance the purchase if you don't have the money cash. Price negotiation is also completely different, because of the limit finance options, no competition and stubborn owners. Haig help us in every step of the process. He has great knowledge and experience in the realestate, lots of connections, very responsive and hard working. As a first time buyer of an empty lot and building a new house, we had high expectations and requirements about the properties, lot's a questions and lot's of concerns for everything.
