Heather Mayer

Heather Douglas Mayer has helped over 275 families, selling over $125 Million in real estate as an Individual Agent. She is honored to have earned the 2022 award for #1 Individual GCI for KWMaine and has ranked in the Top 1% of Maine Realtors for volume sold since 2020. Heather is passionate about helping her clients achieve their real estate goals.

During her 11 years in real estate, Heather has earned numerous distinctions. She earned the Circle of Excellence designation based on production at her previous brokerage yearly from 2017-2021. In 2020 Heather qualified for the National 2020 REAL Trends “The Thousand” & America’s Best Agent Ranking based on volume sold.

Heather Mayer’s journey to Maine - and real estate - has been a winding road. Born and raised in Ohio, she received a Bachelor’s Degree from Case Western Reserve University and moved to Wisconsin to continue her education. After graduating with a Master’s Degree in Asian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Heather moved to California and joined AmeriCorps. After living in North Carolina and Colorado while working in the non-profit sector, she moved to Portland in 2006 and instantly felt at home. In 2011 Heather took a position at Schaeffer Douglas Title and was surprised and delighted to have found her passion in the real estate industry!

She attributes her results to her tireless work ethic, responsiveness, and genuine caring about each client!

Heather lives in Portland with her two daughters. When she’s not working you can find her walking the Presumpscot Falls Trails with her dogs, enjoying the incredible restaurants, and spending as much time on or near the water as the weather allows!
