Upon completing high school, Helen pursued her education at the University of Detroit and Wayne State University, where she obtained both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree. Her academic journey led her to become a speech pathologist, and she embarked on a fulfilling career within the Detroit public school system. Her background in speech pathology, communications, and theater proved to be instrumental in her real estate endeavors, enabling her to skillfully negotiate on behalf of her clients and expertly stage homes for swift sales.
With over three decades of experience as a licensed real estate professional, Helen initially started her career selling properties in Florida. She briefly explored the world of financial advising before redirecting her efforts to the Metro-Detroit real estate market. Notably, she even had a listing in the upper peninsula just two years ago.
In 2016, Helen experienced the loss of her beloved husband, Val, with whom she shared a life filled with five children and six grandchildren. This profound loss left a significant void in her life, one that she diligently worked to fill with the warmth of family, the company of friends, and her enduring passion for real estate. Helen finds immense joy in the process of showcasing and exploring homes, but her ultimate satisfaction lies in assisting her clients in realizing their dream homes or facilitating the sale of their properties to support essential life transitions.
