The universe was smiling on me the day Houcine Mkais was brought into my life. I was in the midst of a major life transition, selling my home of 43 years and downsizing to a condo, leaving behind the only community I'd ever known. Houcine quickly made it a point to ease my fear and anxiety, building a relationship based on trust and respect. He surpassed all expectations I had of what a realtor should do, proactively setting up and managing my estate sale and online auction, vetting and hiring contractors to get my new condo ready just in time and being there long after both sales were complete to make sure I was happy and comfortable in my new home. Any realtor can sell your house, but not every realtor has mastered the art of the relationship which is where Houcine excels. Yes, he's the market expert that sold my house in 5 days for over asking but more importantly, he's become a lifelong friend, trusted counselor and confidante. Trust me, don't think twice. The past year has been difficult and we were in the process of looking for a new house just as the pandemic started...and this was a very stressful time to start house hunting. Houcine was recommended to us by a friend and from the very first virtual call we knew immediately that he was "our" man to help us find our new house.
Houcine was very calm, detail oriented, professional, responsive, and persistent...these were all the qualities we were looking for in an agent, and he knocked it out the park.
Fast forward a year we are looking for other investment properties and know we have the right agent to lead us.

I was not so sure I was going to be able to sell my place during the pandemic. However, Houcine was very upbeat and was certain we would get offers quickly. Turns out, he was right! He helped me navigate all the paperwork and checked in with me often to let me know what to expect at every phase of the sale, and even accompanied me to the closing.
