Howard Morrel, Esq. is a highly esteemed residential real estate broker with over 30 years of experience in the industry, having achieved more than $3 billion in sales throughout his career. Renowned for his expertise, Howard specializes in private real estate transactions, particularly in trusts and estates. He serves as a consultant and agent for real estate professionals, attorneys, and family offices with extensive international portfolios and is a fiduciary in Part 36 of New York's Surrogate’s Court.

Howard's clientele is a diverse and elite group, including musicians, sports and entertainment celebrities, family offices, foreign officials, C-suite executives, sovereign funds, and tech leaders. His exceptional track record has solidified his reputation as one of the top agents in the region. Notably, he was ranked the 11th top-producing broker in New York City by the Wall Street Journal and Real Trends.

Throughout his illustrious career, Howard has brokered over 450 transactions on Manhattan's prestigious Billionaires' Row. He is also the co-author of the influential 57th Street Report. Among his notable deals, Howard facilitated the sale of the historic Halston House at 101 East 63rd Street, once the heart of the Studio 54 era, to fashion designer Tom Ford. He also represented the buyer of Clive Davis’s coop at the Ritz Tower and the seller of the Sullivan Estate in Southampton, NY, for $58 million. His roster of high-profile clients includes Diana Ross, Mary J. Blige, Jackie Mason, Marc Anthony, Michael Ovitz, and several NY Rangers, NY Yankees, and Miami Heat players. Additionally, Howard has worked with prestigious organizations such as the Paul Rudolph Institute for Modern Architecture, The Richard Avedon Foundation, and the Caron Foundation.

Howard holds a BA in Music Composition and Performance from Berklee College of Music and a Juris Doctor from New York Law School, earned in 2001. He is a licensed attorney and a member of the American Bar Association. Prior to his real estate career, Howard was the president and founder of HLM Production Ltd., an independent music production company. As an accomplished musician and producer, he has worked on 15 successful jazz albums with major labels including Mitsubishi, MCA Universal, and Fujisanke. Notably, he produced Yoko Ono’s EP commemorating John Lennon’s 50th birthday and orchestrated the first high-definition live broadcast event at the Tokyo Dome, featuring artists like Miles Davis, Natalie Cole, and Lenny Kravitz.

Today, Howard leads Morrel Hirsch & Advisors, a team of professional sales agents fluent in multiple languages, including English, Farsi, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. In 2024, Morrel Hirsch & Advisors was recruited by Christie's International Real Estate Group to establish its Trusts & Estates Division, enhancing the company's service offerings for high-net-worth clients. The team is known for its comprehensive approach, serving executors, trusts, estates, elder law specialists, receivers, fiduciaries, family offices, non-profits, and institutional clients.

Howard is a member of the Christie’s International Real Estate Masters Circle which is an elite group of high-performing luxury real estate specialists from across the global network.
