Growing up one of the lessons you'll learn is your network is one of the keys to your success in life. Ian is that connection in your network who has even more connections than you can imagine helping you get things done no matter what it is. He helped us buy our first home in Northern Virginia back in 2008. It was crazy competitive just like it is today. We shopped numerous homes and when my wife decided on the ONE she wanted he was able to work with his team to get our offer submitted and accepted by the seller. His team keeps in touch with you and are always making themselves available for any questions like family. Fast forward to 2021, we decided it was time to sell and we knew we would give him first dibs on this listing. I shot him a text and he remembered us after more than a decade. He showed up when we were ready and worked with us to create a vision for some updates to our home that would get us top dollar. The updates took 3 days, and he coordinated the entire process, so I didn't have to go find contractors which is a pain. After the updates were finished his team went to work taking amazing photos and creative marketing materials. I was seeing my house listed everywhere. The effort they put in had us with over 40 showings before the weekend was over and many offers over asking. I watched homes better than ours sit for longer than ours and really can only thank Ian and his team for the professionalism they bring to the industry. We have helped family sell properties in the past and I can assure you none were this smooth. Ian kept us up to date through the software they use and constant email communications. We had all kinds of setbacks from the HOA not sending documents and a failed termite inspection, but Ian kept his cool and navigated us to closing on time with no delays.

A quick anecdote, I was having issues with the gas company and I was out of town so Ian personally dealt with the company, and one of his team members, Michael, went to my house for the appointment (which the company wouldn't schedule for anything more specific than an all day appointment because they "couldn't say when the technician would be there for sure"). I will be recommending Ian to anybody I know looking to buy or sell a home in Northern Virginia.
