About Irma

For over two decades, Tierra Properties founder and real estate broker Irma Vargas has taken leadership roles in the Los Angeles real estate community. Since 1990, she has been Director of the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles (AAGLA), an organization for which she was President in 1996-1997. Irma has served as State Director of the California Association of Realtors since 1988. She is President-Elect of the Beverly Hills Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors and Past President of the Santa Monica Board of Realtors. In addition, she is a member of the Santa Monica and West Los Angeles Chambers of Commerce. Irma specializes in Westside residential and Greater Los Angeles income properties.

From 1989 to 1994, Irma was Director of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, and from 1993 to present, she has been Personnel Commissioner for the City of Santa Monica. She is a graduate of Loyola-Marymount University, where she majored in business with an emphasis in accounting, and is married, with two children.
