Originally from Turkey, Isil moved to Texas at age 10 with her family, but always dreamed of someday living in New York. After earning a BA in Political Science from Yale University and a law degree from The University of Texas, Isil moved to her dream city to practice law. After six years as a litigator, Isil left the law to help people make their homes in her adopted city and guide them through the most important purchase (or very consequential sale) of their lives.
Isil, her husband Bill, and son Teddy live in Gramercy, after stints in Cobble Hill, Nolita, the West Village, and Union Square. In her free time, Isil is a dedicated volunteer Yale, serving as Class Secretary of Yale College Class of 2004 and President/Director of Communications of yale. NYC, where she spearheaded the rebrand and reorganization of the alumni group spanning over 15,000 members.
