J. Otis Rylee

J. Otis Rylee is a Northeast Georgia native with over 13 years of experience in the real estate industry. He cut his teeth in commercial real estate as a commercial real estate appraiser in Atlanta with McColgan & Company. In his appraiser role, he gained valuable knowledge of and exposure to all types of property ranging from small commercial land tracts in ownership disputes up to 1,000,000+ square-foot distribution centers owned by REITs.

After obtaining a solid understanding of valuation and property analysis, he joined The Simpson Company of Georgia as a Sales Associate and remained in that role for nearly eight years until transitioning to Avison Young as a Senior Vice President and later NAI Brannen Goddard in 2022. In his brokerage career, he has focused on the sale and leasing of land and industrial real estate in the greater Metro Atlanta and Northeast Georgia areas. He has a solid group of clients who trust him to spend their money as if it were his own, which has created plenty of repeat business and valuable partnerships with his clients.

Otis is a licensed real estate salesperson as well as a member of the Atlanta Board of Commercial Realtors. He will be pursuing the CCIM designation to further his commercial real estate career.

In his spare time, Otis enjoys fishing and hunting as well as working on the family farm in Banks County. He also enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams and running the recreation for his church’s Vacation Bible School in the summertime. Otis and his wife, Kayla, and three children reside in Homer and attend Nails Creek Baptist Church where he helps lead music and worship through playing electric, acoustic and occasionally the bass guitar.
