Jackie has lived in the Virginia Beach area since 1983. Moving around while growing up as a "military brat" and helping others relocate just comes naturally to her. Since late 2008, we have had Remax Alliance as the property managers of a condo we owned at Lighthouse Point in Rudee Inlet.

In the more than 12 years that we had the property under rental, Steven and Jackie Dunbar did a real fine job finding great tenants and managing the unit. We had just two renters, the last of which occupied the unit for more than nine years. The renters took exceptional care of our unit and Remax stayed on top of any maintenance issues that arose.

The office staff, starting with Jen McLean, was always prompt at taking care of issues our tenants had and in answering the many questions we had throughout the years.

Our last tenant moved out in December 2020. We were going to rent the unit again, and in fact, had it listed. With the help of Steven, who knows every contractor in Va. Beach and squeezes a good price out of them, we made several upgrades to the apartment that we purchased in 2002.

But then it happened -someone came along and made an offer we could not refuse to buy the unit. The Remax Alliance team made it easy for us to get the unit sold without it ever being listed.

We would highly recommend using Remax Alliance for property management or helping you buy or sell property.

If there is a problem she is quick to help solve any problems. It's been over 10 years since I bought my home through her and I still enjoy receiving her annual box of cherries and a calendar with recipes! Thanks Jackie!

Regarding the sale of our condo, my wife and I could not be happier and more pleased with the service provided by Jackie and Steve Dunbar. From start to finish we knew we were in the most capable, caring, and expert hands in the business. Jackie guided, advised, and walked us through the entire process, and we sold in, what I would consider record time. Our condo sold in 6 days, and that is during a PANDEMIC! Who does that? Jackie Dunbar, that's who. We are forever in her debt for holding our hands through what could have been a major headache, and instead, it was a walk in the park.
