James A. Nappo

James is a Managing Director in the Diversified Industries Investment Banking Group with more than 30 years of investment banking experience and is based in Stifel’s Chicago office.

James, who was previously Global Head of Diversified Industrials at Jefferies, is a recognized leader in capital raising and M&A advisory with an extensive network in the industrials sector. James spent 18 years of his career at Credit Suisse, working his way up from analyst to Global Co-Head of Diversified Industrials, Co-Head of the firm’s Chicago office, and a member of the investment banking operating committee. James also was a Co-Founder of UBS's Chicago office from 2004 - 2007 and was head of their renewable energy business.

James has a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
