Originally from South Florida, Jim graduated from high school in 1986 and joined the Navy. After a successful 21 years of military service, Jim retired in 2007. He was stationed in Jacksonville for 8 years and loved this wonderful city so much he came back after retirement. Jim studied business management at University of Phoenix and graduated with his bachelor’s degree in 2013. He married Angela, who has been a resident of Jacksonville for over 25 years. Between the two of them they have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.
