What can I say?! Jim KNOWS the real estate market in this area SO well. His responsiveness to my quick requests were unmatched by any other realtor in my experience (note: I bought and sold 4 houses before this one), He never makes you feel pressured and truly wants you to find JUST the right house for you. I'm so excited about my new place. Super great experience and service working with Jim. ADDED BONUS: If you have Jim as a landlord, as I have for the last year, he's AWESOME at that as well! Jim was a pleasure to work with. It had been more than 20 years since I had sold a home, I had many questions and Jim answered them quickly and with great patience. He showed such attention to detail, he overlooked nothing. I highly recommend Jim. An aside, during the process of getting my home ready to sell I contracted Covid-19. Jim was more concerned about my wellbeing than getting the house on the market. It speaks volumes of the person he is. Even after the sale of my home Jim showed compassion and care. Jim promised my house would sell quickly and it sure did.

Since 2007 Jim Donohue has been our agent for three real estate transactions. In each case we were very pleased.

First, he helped my wife and I find the home we now live in. Jim was knowledgeable, personable, and patient as we searched for our new home. He did an excellent job of carefully listening to what we were seeking and saved us a lot of time by choosing which houses we should take the time to view. All aspects of the transaction went smoothly, and we still love the place.

Second, when my mother passed, Jim helped my sister and I sell her home. Jim provided excellent advice regarding what we should done to prepare the home for the market. He is knowledgeable of skilled craftsmen who helped us fix the place up. The house sold quickly, and we were pleased with the price.

Finally, Jim just helped my sister and I sell a home we inherited from our grandparents. The house needed a lot of work. Jim advised us all through the process. The house sold in one day for more than we were asking.

These three properties were from different sections of Richmond. Jim knows the market well. Buying a house is a tough decision, and Jim was very patient as my wife and I deliberated. Jim’s network of skilled craftsmen is a real asset to anyone trying to prepare a home for sale. Jim’s a pro and he knows his job. Again, I’ve worked with him on three transactions and there were no surprises.

I am happy to know Jim Donohue and will call on him again if I need to buy or sell a home.

Jim is hands down one of the best realtors I’ve ever worked with. He has helped me buy and sell multiple homes in the Richmond area over the past several years. Jim is incredibly knowledgeable about the market and his suggestions on what to do to get the most value and best price out of your home is always spot on. Jim has helped my wife and I purchase and sell several homes in Richmond. I can not give him a high enough recommendation. He has always been a calm voice of reason during negotiations.
