I recently wanted to purchase a fixer-upper in Sycamore and I worked with Mike Wise, Jim's Associate. After Mike found the house that I wanted to purchase, he was very helpful in assisting with the offer process, loan information, and arranging the inspection. He kept me informed of what I needed to take care and kept the process moving along. The closing was only 6 weeks after an offer was accepted by both parties. My Lender and my Lawyer also commented on how quickly and smoothly it went.

02/03/2014 - pamfiore16435 Bought a Single Family home in 2013 in Aurora, IL. We recently worked directly with Jim's associate Mike Wise on moving our daughter up to Chicago area from St Louis. There were so many unknowns as we started our search and then as we began to finalize more variables in the equation, we had very little time left to get her moved. When we first started looking in the fall, he knew the move date would be January or February and he was constantly looking for rental or ownership options for us. She has two dogs so rental options were few and ownership required fenced in yard as well. She was also in the process of finding a position within her company that she could to transfer to in the Geneva, Aurora, St. Charles area so we kept having to expand the search area. Her fiancé's college location was also a factor. Mike was efficient and responsive and helped us not once but twice find the perfect house. The first one we lost to another offer but things happen for a reason and now the house she just bought is less than a mile from her fiancé's college and just a few minutes from her new job. It was great working with Mike and I would definitely recommend him and the Jim Dumont team to others.

07/25/2011 - leagorman Sold a Single Family home in 2008 for approximately $300K in Dekalb, IL. We first met Jim when he knocked on our door after the previous listing on our home expired. We were impressed that he wasn't pushy, yet he was aggressive. After meeting with Jim, we realized that his approach to marketing a property was the same as his approach to getting a listing.....not pushy, yet aggressive. Jim worked very well, together with us to get our home sold. We then hired Jim as our agent to help find our new home and once again, he was aggressive and also very knowledgeable about the local market as well as the ins and outs of real estate deals in general. When it came time to sell our father's house, Jim was the only agent that we went to. It's was nice to see that he still used the same aggressiveness in marketing, but had also updated his marketing avenues in order to remain on the cutting edge of what is working and what isn't working with the ever changing market. While we were discouraged when the offer came in on our father's home, Jim kept us positive and through his negotiating efforts, he was able to get the buyers up to a very reasonable number so that all parties involved were satisfied. We will use Jim again and again as our Realtor!

08/10/2011 - n.selock Bought a Single Family home in 2007 for approximately $200K in Bolingbrook, IL. Jim was exceptional throughout our homebuying process. We never felt pressured to hurry through the process, in fact it took us a while to find the right home. Jim drove all over northern IL (from Rockford to DeKalb to Lockport!) to show us homes we were interested in. He was very helpful during all stages of the process and kept us well informed of every step in the process. In fact, the home we finally purchased wasn't in our original price range (although the purchase price certainly was!!) and Jim made a point of telling us about this home to see if we wanted to consider it. We're so glad he got to know us enough to make this suggestion because we love our house! Jim truly cares about his clients and goes out of his way to assist them in any way possible, even if its not related to the sale/purchase! We absolutely would use Jim's services again. Hopefully we won't need to move, but if we do, we're calling Jim, and only Jim.
