James Pycha

James (Jim) Pycha began his life on Kauai in 1971 as the head Night Auditor for the Hanalei Plantation Hotel (later Club Med). At a church service in Anahola, Jim met Cyrila Cole from Anahola, fell in love, got married and settled down in Kilauea where Cyrila was the nurse for Kilauea Sugar Plantation. Jim worked for the general contractors Morrison & Knudsen on the Princeville at Hanalei planned unit development project where he now resides in a beautiful home fronting the 11th fairway of the Makai Golf Course. In 1979, Jim embarked on his real estate sales and property management career and eventually opened his own brokerage in the Princeville Center. Following his purchase of the RE/MAX Kauai Island-wide franchise, he opened offices in Koloa (South side) and Kapa’a (East Side). As noted by his numerous client endorsements, Jim excels in establishing sustained top-level client-based trust resulting from his many years of real estate brokerage experience.
