Jan Daum was born in Enid, Oklahoma, but raised in Hiram, a small town in Northeastern Ohio. She has lived in many beautiful and unique places, including Japan, Key West, Florida, and Plymouth, Massachusetts. Jan now calls Georgetown, Texas home because of the warm, sunny days and the rich quality of life the “Red Poppy Capital” has to offer.
Jan enjoys learning, and she has pursued several degrees. Jan has a B. A. in Psychology from Hiram College in Ohio and another in Education from the University of South Florida. She was an award-winning elementary teacher and earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Following the unexpected loss of her husband, Jan completed a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Walden University, thinking that her emphasis in loss and grief might be of service to others.
She entered the world of real estate in 2011 as her way of putting her teaching and counseling skills to use. Helping others navigate their housing transition and find their way home is especially rewarding for Jan.
