Jane and Lance are full time residents of Mantoloking and work together as Team White. Jane's grandparents first started coming to Mantoloking in the 1930's and Jane grew up here in the summers since she was a young child. Jane has been a Realtor for over 5 years and has been involved in many transactions on both the buy and sell side. Jane and Lance became full time residents in 2007. The last two years have been difficult to say the least dealing with COVID-19. The real estate market has significantly changed a few times during this period. In the last six months of 2020 the number of transactions was historic with properties appreciating 25%-30%. In late 2021 the inventory of listings dropped dramatically and, while price appreciation continued, the number of sales slowed noticeably due to this reduced inventory. There are now multiple cash offers on properties above the asking price. This unique development requires a different skill set for real estate agents as they represent their clients. Things are not what they were, and we all need to adapt to this new environment to achieve success. Jane has the experience and knowledge to help her clients reach a very satisfactory conclusion to what may be a complex and arduous process. Jane feels it is very important that she goes through the transaction, for a sale or purchase, together with her client from beginning to end. This can be a stressful and emotional time, so it is vitally important that she and the clients are on the same page for the entire process.
