Janet Lucas fell in love with the eclectic neighborhoods and communities of the SF East Bay thirty years ago when she moved here from the Pacific Northwest to attend UC Berkeley and UC Davis School of Law. After a successful twenty-year career as a lawyer and as a business consultant for a large legal tech company, she decided that buying and selling residential real estate was a perfect way to meld her legal and business expertise with her passion for homes and for helping people realize their personal and financial goals. She thrives on providing an exceptional experience to her clients and ensuring their needs and goals are met through collaboration and clear, consistent communication. Her legal background and business acumen allow her to craft effective strategies and arrive at elegant solutions to complex challenges. She loves being a resource and advisor to her clients and using her deep knowledge of the local neighborhoods and the industry, her experience as a homeowner and a real estate investor, and her creative eye for the aesthetic potential in properties to her clients' benefit. When she is not holding open houses or helping clients, you will find her watching her son play competitive soccer, cycling in the beautiful East Bay hills, hosting wine tasting parties, perusing produce at the Berkeley and Oakland farmers markets, or assessing her next home improvement project.
