Janis gained our trust quickly as she guided us through a series of tasks to ready our house for sale. She used her deep understanding of our neighborhood to market our property within the neighborhood we loved calling home for many years, and she connected us with skilled professionals to complete some painting and carpeting updates. She knew we preferred to move quickly and she delivered on all of her promises. In the end, as part of Edina Realty, she matched us with an interested buyer to sell our home without ever having to host an open house. We sold at a great price before we hit the market!

We met Janis at the beginning of the build up of the Corona Virus in 2020. She worked closely with us to sell our family home of 45 years. She gave us wonderful advice and had excellent referrals to people who could do the work on our home to prepare it for sale. Everything turned out great with the sale and we got an excellent offer on our home.

As the virus began to wind down in 2021, we worked with Janis to buy our new home. We made an offer on the first home we wanted and got it. Again, Janis did a wonderful job for us and made the whole process very easy.

We give Janis 5 stars and recommend her highly. She will do a great job for you.

Where do we begin…….We began this process just as the COVID-19 pandemic set in last March following our return from our honeymoon Jamaica.

This was our 1st home so we had NO IDEA what to expect. Janis has been doing this for so long, for so many people with so much success. We KNEW we’d find our home with her on our side. We had NO IDEA it would take us OVER A YEAR to find OUR HOME however. With the pandemic I thought most people wouldn’t be looking to buy a home. Boy, were we wrong as it was the complete opposite!! The housing inventory was much lower than the demand. We were involved with multiple bids/offers as we looked at least a dozen homes, having 5-6 offers rejected. As we rolled into spring we were really frustrated. Janis continued to look for homes we’d be interested in. She repeatedly reassured us we would find the home of our dreams, “just be patient”. SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!! We would recommend Janis to ANYONE looking to buy or sell a home!!! She was punctual in communicating with us & ALWAYS listening to what our wants & needs were/are.

We cannot recommend Janis enough!! Thank you so much for all your hard work & helping us achieve our dream, to own a home WE ADORE!!!

Wow, it was an amazing, smooth, and quick process even during a pandemic. We have used Janis Powers before but this time stands out above all. We found a great new home to buy and Janis got our current home on the market and sold in 4 days. Closed on both homes in about 30 days. Top notch service all around. Janis is a very professional realtor. From start to finish everything was well documented and detailed. She provided hands on input during pricing, staging and showing of my home. She is an excellent communicator. And she knows the Rosemount housing market well.

Janis recommended many housing contractors who I used prior to selling my home. These were small upgrades to my house that we determined would enhance the house and allow me to sell quicker. The expert advice I received from Janis was exactly what I was looking for.

My house sold in about 2 weeks and my closing went perfectly. I would recommend Janis for any real estate transaction.
