Honesty and integrity are two of the defining characteristics of Jared and his work ethic, which led to his appointment as a Director for the Greater Boston Association of Realtors in 2013. Between GBAR and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, Jared has served as a director at the local or state level for every year since. Jared has chaired and vice-chaired various committees, while also proudly serving on the Professional Standards Committee.
Following in the footsteps of his dad and grandfather, real estate is in Jared’s DNA. After spending seven years learning the ropes in the family business, Jared went to Benoit Mizner Simon & Co. ranking as a top producer in each of his nine years there, culminating as the number two broker out of one hundred. As the old saying goes, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join em,” and in 2020 that is exactly what Jared decided to do, teaming up with the number one agent in Traci Shulkin.
Growing up in a real estate family, Jared learned the timeless core principles of selling and developing real estate, but he also understands modern tools and tactics. His blend of traditional and outside-the-box thinking brings a fresh style and energy to the art of real estate.
Jared’s listings have been showcased throughout statewide media, and he has been interviewed by the likes of The Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, and Realtor Magazine, but the most recognizable moments came for Jared as the local real estate expert on HGTV’s “My Lottery Dream Home” and ABC’s “Chronicle.”
Lifelong relationships are something Jared takes a lot of pride in. Having grown up in Newton, not only does he know the area well, but Jared also knows the people in and around the Greater Boston suburbs. Building and sustaining new relationships with clients is a gift Jared thrives for. These days Jared lives in Needham with his wife, Abby, and their two sons Cole and Grayson. If clients were to hike through the Needham Forest, they will likely find Jared and his dog, Cadbury, in their free time.
