About Jason

Jason Aikens began his career in the family business at 16 while attending John Handley High School. During this time, he worked and was trained in every position in the hospitality industry. Upon graduating from James Madison University in 2002 with a Business Management degree, he was the Operations Manager for the Aikens Hotel Group.

In 2006 Jason became the Vice President of the Aikens Group. Steven Parrish and Jason are responsible for the company’s hotel division growth and management. In addition, Jason is responsible for managing the apartment and commercial real estate divisions of Aikens Group. In this position, he and his team develop and implement new ways to streamline the efficiency of the operations and obtain market share for all the markets in which the Aikens Group functions. Jason is focused on ensuring the group evolves to maintain its reputation, future, and profitability.

A lifelong resident of Winchester, Jason has always enjoyed working with the community and actively volunteers. Currently, Jason sits on the Board of Winchester Medical Center’s Foundation, the Advisory Board, and the Investment Committee of Valley Health and sits on the Board of NW Works Foundation. He is also a Director for First National Corporation, First Bank, sits on Frederick County’s Planning Commission, and is a Licensed Real Estate Agent.
