We are Stephen and Tory; we lived in La Canada over 20 years. We had been thinking of buying a house in Palos Verdes for a long time and actively searched for a house in PV for over a year. At first, we thought that we would just look on the internet and tour houses on our own. However, we could not get any of our offers for houses accepted. We met Jason Buck when we toured a house that Jason had listed. Although Jason knew that our offers were not competitive, he helped us anyway. We did not get the house he listed. However, we found him very knowledgeable about the Palos Verdes area where he was born, raised and currently lives. He knows the geography, culture and people in the area. More importantly, he is down to earth. We decided to have him be our buying agent for our house search, which is the best decision we ever made.

Within weeks, he found our dream house. Jason navigated us through the super-heated PV seller’s market, which unusually contains multiple offers at much higher than listing prices and the craziness that goes with it. Jason has always been very patient, never rushed us or pushed us to do anything we were not comfortable with. He always answered our questions quickly and guided us through the very complicated negotiation process. He is very resourceful on local inspection, plumbing, city planning and anything related to house purchase. Most impressively, he had personally done most things for us since we live far from PV and had a very busy working schedule. We have been telling our friends that Jason Buck is godsend to us! He is the one we were lucky enough to have all the stars line up to get the amazing ocean view house we had always wanted.

Nowadays, every time we look at the sunset from our new house, we think about Jason and how wonderful he is. He has a golden caring heart and has continued helping us, even well after we bought the house. We definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to buy or sell a house in the PV area. We know we will have him to be our agent again when we sell or buy another house.

Jason was so kind to provide Western bluebird nesting boxes to the community as a way to increase the native bluebird population in PV. My 14-year-old son put it together and installed it and we now have our fingers’ crossed that a bluebird family will move in. Thank you Jason!!

Jason is an exceptional realtor, he knows the South Bay and especially the Palos Verdes area. He is also very active in the community, last week I received a birdbox from him. It houses the western bluebird which is a native bird to Palos Verdes, as they do not have a safe nesting ground from other non-native birds that have migrated here throughout the years. Thank you for being conscious about our community, it's nice to see a realtor that truly cares about our area.

After visiting numerous open houses and talking with numerous agents, my Fiancee and I were having a hard time finding exactly what we wanted in our first home. Enter Jason. We finally felt like we were talking to someone who cared about getting us the home of our dreams instead of just rushing to cash a check. Before meeting him, I had literally gone over in my head a few times the benefits of going around a broker to see if that would allow me to get a better deal and I can honestly say that would have been one of the biggest mistakes of my life. The first home Jason showed us, we were not too excited about and he was extremely candid. Pointing out things we never would have even thought to notice. He took us to quite a few homes, honing in on what we were looking for and wanted, possibly before we were even aware of our own preferences. When we did finally find a place that we truly liked, he made us a top priority. Here I am crawling under the house with Jason right along side of me pointing out things to look for in a home. Going through the attic looking over every beam? Jason was there. Inspecting every drawer, every piece of crown moulding, sink, grout, lights... the list goes on. "Hey Jason, is there any chance you could show us the house so that we can take measurements?" No problem. "Hey Jason, sorry I forgot to measure the depth of this one spot..." No problem. "Hey Jason, I know we were there yesterday but there was another thing I meant to check but I made the same mistake again of forgetting it." No problem. He responded so quickly and was always willing to help with a smile. Jason also helped us with making an offer on the home. Finding the right balance of what is being asked, what the home is worth and what we are willing to pay. He helped us negotiate down to the wire and I don't think anyone walked away from the deal feeling cheated, especially my Fiancée and I. When it came down to paperwork, he was on top of it. Sometimes finishing up documents late into the night to help us meet our deadlines. I can honestly say if there was an award for best realtor of the year, Jason wouldn't have enough shelves for the awards he would be raking in. No one can doubt this man's dedication, knowledge, helpfulness, courtesy, trustworthiness, and capability. Thank you Jason, you truly made this experience so much smoother and stressless than we could ever have imagined. I eagerly await hearing from other friends and family interested in buying a new home just so I can be the guy who gives out Jason's name knowing that they will be thanking me for the connection.

Jason helped coordinate all the moving parts of the sale to clean out the belongings of the home and then prep the house for sale. He had a great idea to remove the carpet to expose the valuable hardwood flooring, but when the glue was stuck to the floor, Jason got on his hands and knees for several hours and scrubbed the floor to get it presentable. Jason has a database of laborers which were very helpful as the home needed a paint job and a few plumbing fixes. Once we went to the public MLS Jason held an open house and marketed the property with professional photos and even a personalized video. He was able to generate four offers for the home, and found a great all cash buyer to work with and close escrow. Jason kept us well informed and always gave us the pros/cons of each decision while outlining all of the potential outcomes of various opportunities. His professionalism and conduct were top notch, and we would highly recommend working with Jason Buck.

Choosing Jason Buck as our realtor was the best decision we made in regards to selling our duplex in South Redondo and buying our first single-family home in RPV. When it came to the biggest sale and purchase in our lives, we choose Jason Buck to be our realtor because we knew it was important to have a trustworthy partner that would give us honest advice and look out for our best interests.
Beyond being a friend and business associate, Jason has established himself as a true gentleman. Through the often stressful and always uncomfortable process of home sale and purchase, Jason always remained cool, calm and collected.
