I began the purchase of my first home from 3,000 miles away after going down a dreamy Zillow rabbit hole. I Googled “Best Real Estate Agents” in the area local to the property and immediately came across Jason Dillon, who had all 5-star reviews and great testimonials. Within minutes after I got off the phone with Jason, he had contacted the listing agent (also the seller), was in his car, and on his way to the house that was a fair distance away from his office (by the way, this was, I think, the week of Thanksgiving). With his continuous guidance and advocacy, even during the holiday week, my offer was accepted Thanksgiving Eve.

What ensued after was maybe one of the most challenging experiences for all on my team. There was a lot to contend with — strong personalities, contract delays, and a seller who acted in bad faith. But Jason was always available by text, phone, or email, and had my back to the end. He introduced me to some great professionals who were so helpful, and he delivered on his promises to make sure we closed and I was properly taken care of, even after closing. In the end, I have a lovely home, and Jason (and his team!) was a big part of making sure this dream come true.

I’d like to share my experience with Jason from EXP Dillon Real Estate as my agent in charge of selling my home in Walden NY. I was an absentee owner living overseas in the Philippines and I relied on Jason to handle the entire operation from start to finish. He arranged for the house to be ready to be shown by making sure it was clean and presentable for the prospective buyers which to me was above and beyond the call of duty. After we accepted an offer, there were some bumps in the road but Jason always managed to keep the process moving. My experience with Alexis Clavijo Real Estate Agent with The Jason Dillon Home Team was phenomenal. She and her team were extremely professional, great communication and providing sound information for someone new and wanting to get a feel for the market and current options.

I am coming at this review from a few places. As a First time home buyer and a first time home buyer that is a person of color. Jason was amazing to work with. He was VERY honest about everything. From cost to closing. Was not pushy, did not hesitate to give real feedback. Not once did we feel he was trying to make us buy something we didn't want. I will always recommend Jason Dillion to anyone interested in buying a home.

We started off our search upstate NY and then ended up looking into buying our first home in NJ, to have a closer commute to NYC. I was happy to find that when we were looking at homes in Bergan county, Jason was licensed in NJ. He would make the trips to come meet us to view a home. Even when we said. we want to put an offer, he would have the paper work ready asap since we were buying in a seller market with homes with multiple offers. He batted for us and we felt he was really on our side.

Jason helped us with the broker recommendations, our lawyer and even the inspector. The hardest part was honestly the bidding wars, other than that- it was a smooth process. Will use him when we buy our second home.

We were looking for a house, and our agent, Barbara Severo found us a HOME! We couldn’t be happier with the way our first real estate purchase went, from start to finish.

Barbara was beyond incredible. She carefully listened to all of our needs and wants and was there for us every step of the way. Every showing met our requirements, and when something wasn’t in our best interest she would immediately point it out and redirect us. Therefore, we always felt like she had our absolute best interest in mind. She was always available for any questions or concerns and she is extremely knowledgeable of the real estate market. Once we found the house we wanted she pushed the process along, she was constantly on top of all the moving parts and kept all the parties involved in check in order for us to close in a timely manner - as we are expecting our first child in less than a week!

Especially during these times, with all of the COVID restrictions , we found our dream home and closed in under 3 months!! (and it would have been faster if we didn’t meet some bumps in the way that were out of our control).

Where do I start....the most professional and hard working realty group I've ever experienced. Specifically, Jason was amazing. I have to say that I would probably not have sold my old home and be in my new, beautiful home if it weren't for him. I called him out of curiosity about a listing and within hours, he was at my home giving me all the information and confidence I needed to finally take the plunge. My home was sold the first day and Jason was available whenever I needed him. Jason sold this property faster and for more money than I ever dreamed possible. When we first met, he outlined the strategy and although I was a little uncomfortable with the list price, I let go and trusted his judgement. He had one weekend of open houses and multiple offers. This 1860s Victorian house that had been vacant for 10+ years and in dire need of a complete renovation closed within a month. Jason recommended I accept an offer that was the best for me even though the 2nd best offer was better for him. He was easy to work with, communicated clearly and thoroughly, and had a great network to back up his sales expertise.

Mr. Dillon's recommendation on a sale price for the property proved to be accurate and his estimate on an approximate time when a sale would take place also proved to be reasonably accurate. He seemed to have a good understanding of market conditions in my area. I was informed by email each time he scheduled an appointment for viewing the house. He was also prompt in answering any questions I sent by email; contact with his office personnel was always possible. The home owner, when employing through Mr. Dillon (or any real estate broker), crews to remove unwanted furniture, to repaint some interior surfaces and do minor repair work in order to ready the house for viewing, should come to an agreement and understanding on the details of the work needed to be done. Except for one slight problem this was generally a satisfactory experience for me. My conversations with Dillon were always business-like, appropriate and professional. And we got the job done.
