Selecting a real estate agent is as important (if not more) as selecting the right house. Meeting and working with Jay Gray since 2019 was the first best step in our house hunting process in Myrtle Beach, SC. It's been a long process but that's what made the relationship with Jay so exceptional. He hung in there over time, making great recommendations and continually providing honest and reliable support. When we finally did make the decision on what we thought were the right properties he stood by us, guiding us through the process and using his wealth of knowledge to make the right decisions. Jay's immediate response and communication with us was calming and invaluable throughout the process.Jay even went above and beyond (as were out of state buyers) providing us with a video of our newly selected property which helped us make the final decision to buy our new home, even without seeing the property in person. We could not have done that had we not developed an outstanding relationship with Jay over the years built on dependable, responsible, and honest feedback at all times. Thanks to Jay Gray’s excellent knowledge of the Myrtle Beach housing market, seamless coordination and very responsive communication, we purchased our dream beach house in Myrtle Beach, while living in NY.

Mid-2020, Jay had a listing on Zillow we liked, we submitted our contact info for a call back and Jay called us within 30 mins! He spent over an hour on the phone during our first call, helping to familiarize us with not only the Myrtle Beach area but the entire SC coast. He helped us understand the differences between condos, condotels, and the risks and benefits of them. Stayed in touch over the course of a year, periodically sending us listings he thought we would like.

Once we found a few properties we liked online, Jay was able to get us in to see them and we submitted our offer soon after. The entire contract negotiation and all formalities upto closing were done remote (we are in NY). We could not have done this without Jay - he was our advisor, 100% responsive and went above and beyond to help us get to the end! Jay’s level of service was amazing and we cannot recommend him enough!!

Jay is an exceptional realtor. As a first time home buyer, I had no clue what I was getting into in the real estate market. I had worked with a realtor prior to him that didn't take me seriously. Jay made me always feel like a priority! Due to travel requirements from my job, I was only in the area a limited amount of time. He worked with me to have virtual viewings and was really thorough in his review of properties for me and made sure to pay attention to details that were on my priority list in a condo. He searched with me for months to find my perfect condo and he was extremely accessible and responsive during the entire process. Unexpected hiccups occurred and it took me 3 months to close on my condo. But Jay fought for me and guided me through the whole process and tried to take as much stress off of me as possible.
