Jay is an amazing real estate broker. I was anxious how our apartment would sell. He made it so easy, pointing us to the significant advantages of the unit in the complex, pricing and presenting the unit properly. We received the offer literally the first day the apartment went on market, with the closing in 2.5 weeks. As we relocated 300 miles away, Jay had an extra pressure of handling everything himself. He was on top of the situation during his family vacation, he got the necessary documents from our township literally the morning of the closing day. With his guidance, we managed to close the sale on time even with a few issues uncovered during inspections, as these were addressed by Jay in extremely professional way. Special thanks to him for saving us a good few 600 miles drives. I would highly recommend Jay.

Jay went above and beyond to help us find a home when we relocated to the area. His communication was consistent and quick and his knowledge of the area was excellent. When we flew in from out of state to search for a home, he spent three solid days with us showing us many homes in the area and was systematic and organized so we could make the most of our time. He helped us find a wonderful home and was so helpful with negotiating the sales price and repairs. I recently had the pleasure of working with Jay Peterman to purchase my new home. From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure! From our initial conversations and throughout the whole process, Jay was professional and highly knowledgeable about the local market. I had a unique situation and Jay patiently helped me over a 4 to 5 month period.

I began to look for a new home and without doubt I used Jay as my realtor. After sending Jay a few homes I was interested in he quickly got back to me with a few more options. Jay quickly set up showings for us that weekend, for a total of 5 showings all on one Saturday.

Jay did his research and found background information on the homes we were seeing with local comparisons. One of the homes he found for me met all my needs - location, price, bedrooms, ect. When we arrived at the home I fell in love - Jay knows what to look for!

Throughout our journey, Jay demonstrated immense patience and understanding of my situation. Whether I needed advice or additional time for research, he took it all in stride. He went out of his way to provide me with extra resources and various options I could consider.

Jay is a kind realtor who always listened to my anxieties/fears and kept things light-hearted and simple. He offered advice in a kind manor to improve the showing/sale of our home, and brought with him a whole team of experts! He had someone come out to our home to offer advice on repairs suggested, he had another professional simply to take photos of the house (which even included using a drone!). When the house sold, he had contacts to help us fix things that needed fixed prior to settlement. Jay never thought a question was silly/stupid. He always communicated in a timely fashion via phone call and spoke in a professional manor. He made signing things understandable and as simplified as possible. He helped me utilize docusign, etc. He wrote a beautiful description of the home and created a thick handout which included pictures of the home, for interested parties to see. He was quick to update Zillow and online websites. He spoke with clients during open houses on a personal level and took the time to understand what it is they were looking for, emphasizing the house strengths that met the client’s needs. He knew how to stage the house, told me exactly what to do and not to do (upon request). I would highly recommend Jay for his attention to detail, knowledge of the market and real estate in general, professionalism, and genuine personality. Jay always knew how to make me smile, or tell me something I may not want to hear in the best way possible. I couldn’t recommend him enough! Thank you for ALL the time you gave us and for each and every open house! We sold our house quick and efficiently and I still can’t believe how well closing went! Thank you!!

Moving to a new area you know little about can be stressful, but Jay made the process enjoyable. Jay surely had his hands full working with our family, as we were looking to put down roots in an area we knew very little about, and were a bit indecisive in our wants. I’m a first time home buyer. I had a lot of questions and concerns. Jay was always there for me. Even when my husband and I went back and forth about the house we ultimately purchased, Jay remained cool, calm and collected. Always letting us know it was all going to work out. Even when I was in tears, he assured me, there was a house out there for us. He showed up to appointments on time and took the time to explain the process. We were in urgent need of a home at the peak of the craziest real estate market ever and were glad to have Jay Peterman as our realtor. We couldn’t have asked for a better realtor, as Jay was very knowledgeable and experienced in the field, which reflected in the way he handles everything. He was patient with us through the entire process (including allowing our kids to attend open houses) and provided the best guidance one could ask for. Jay always has the interest of the clients as his first priority and offers sincere advise through every step of the process. His friendly demeanor and witty nature makes the stressful process go smoothly. After our offer was accepted and despite his busy schedule, Jay made sure he was present for the home inspection, final walk-through and for closing, which put us at ease on this stressful process. Even after the sale was completed, Jay was nice enough to check on us and make sure everything is going smooth at our new home.
