About Jay

A native of Palm Springs, California, Jay Simmers brings a new, creative outlook to the real estate market. Having been raised in a multicultural family, Jay has dual citizenship in the United States and Panamá. His worldly upbringing allowed him to understand at a young age how to effectively communicate with people of different international backgrounds. Jay knew at a young age that real estate was his passion. He majored in Real Estate and Land Development at The University of Arizona. Early in his college studies he obtained a four-month internship for a luxury travel concierge company in Barcelona, Spain, to learn the ins and outs of international business. During his Junior and Senior year, he interned for Cushman and Wakefield Commercial Real Estate in both the Newport Beach and Tucson office. Upon graduation Jay was hired by Avison Young Commercial Real Estate in Downtown Los Angeles to be a key player on the Automotive Properties Team. He specialized in auto dealership real estate on a nationwide basis. Jay assisted auto dealership franchisees, auto manufacturers, and auto related businesses with their real estate needs. As a well-versed real estate professional, Jay was invited to become a member of Ferretti Real Estate at Bennion Deville Homes. As a member of Ferretti Real Estate, Jay enjoys the opportunity to combine his knowledge of the Coachella Valley and his vast real estate experience to go above and beyond for clients looking to purchase or sell real estate in the desert area. Jay enjoys playing golf and is a five handicap. Some of his other hobbies include trading stocks and boating. Jay’s main goal is to be a full-service concierge for his clients which makes his client’s buying and selling experience in the Greater Palm Springs area memorable.
