Jean-Luc grew up in France and Luxemburg. Graduated from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales / HEC, Paris, with exchange programs at UC Berkeley/Haas School of Business, and Cologne University, Germany. First career was Insurance Broker at Cabinet Diot SA in Paris, London and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with later emphasis on political and credit risk insurance. Then joined the Swiss commodity trading firm Andre SA, specializing in the negotiation of countertrade & barter transactions with private and governmental organizations in Eastern Europe, Asia, Maghreb and the Middle East. Moved in 1998 to the USA in Portland, OR, a real estate broker and relocation specialist with Windermere Real Estate while managing the US representation of Art Gallery “Galerie d'Art Sylvie Platini”. Moved in 2006 to Palo Alto, an associate with Intero Los Altos and Menlo Park before joining the Palo Alto office of Alain Pinel Realtors, now Compass. Jean-Luc is a dual US & French citizen, lives and works in Palo Alto with beloved wife Debbie, son Peter and dog Zoe. Passionate of real estate, architecture and the arts, gardening and nature, traveling, foreign languages and humanism.
