About JeanMarie

It’s nice to meet you. As an introduction, I like to greet each person I meet with a ‘hello’ or ‘wishing you a wonderful day’. My name is JeanMarie Buckley and as a Realtor I take pride in the relationships I have formed and also in the depth of knowledge I share with my clients. The real estate transaction is more than just the purchase or sale of a real property, it’s the understanding of the nuances, the intricacies and the unique traits of each client’s needs as it relates to the property. The real estate world is complex and it takes a real estate professional to understand those complexities.

A bit about me: I am 4th generation San Franciscan and quite proud of my heritage. I adore the 49 square miles that compromise San Francisco and I am fascinated by the eclectic neighborhoods that define San Francisco. Early on in my childhood, my family moved to the Peninsula and I was raised in Burlingame, where I in turn, raised my family. I now reside in San Mateo Park (an area of San Mateo designed by John Hays McLaren, the same person who designed Golden Gate Park). My career began and evolved within the field of education and then I opened up my consulting firm. I made the deliberate decision to transition to real estate to guide the legal, ethical and complicated facets of property acquisition and transfer.

I am commonly asked, ‘are you related to everybody?’ as my family, friends, connections and relationships are wide tentacles circling the entire San Francisco Bay Area. Even given these connections, confidentiality is paramount to my work; as such, I’ll never share my client base as I work with a clientele that wants to remain confidential but more importantly, each person’s financial decisions remain confidential because they just should.

The last little bit: My primary home is in San Mateo Park but I also reside in Lake Tahoe (California side) and work as a buyer’s agent for clients seeking a relocation to the stunning landscape of the Sierra Nevada or wanting a second or investment home. If you or someone you know is interested in obtaining a property in the most desired landscape on the globe (my opinion), I’d be happy to share what the process looks like, as it’s much different than acquiring a property in the San Francisco Bay Area.
