A proud Tampa Native who grew up in Tampa when it was still considered, just a small town. By the time I entered the working world, Tampa had begun growing at a rapid pace! While raising my family, Tampa and surrounding areas changed tremendously, in fact, the Bank building Downtown where I had my first job, became the Police Station!
I started in Banking as a senior in HIgh School. Upon earning my AA Degree, I continued in Banking, until having the opportunity to gain knowledge in the Insurance industry, working for one of the best, "METLIFE", at their Southeastern Head Office in Tampa. Starting in Licensing & then being promoted to Human Resources, servicing 1,100 employees, screening & testing Applicants, and the Liaison with the New York Home Office, where I chose to stay almost 10 years, until taking a few years to be home, raising my boys. Then, I was offered a position with the Catholic School my boys were attending, and I jumped at the chance! As a Teacher Assistant, I wore many hats, while Teaching & preparing students (along with nurturing their self-esteem), so they could be successful & advance to the next grade, and for over twenty years it was extremely rewarding!
Life took some unexpected turns & it seemed like the perfect time to start doing what I had thought about for years! So, I guess you can say, Real Estate is my third Career! Being a "people person", with a passion for helping others & building relationships, working in Real Estate offers me many avenues to make wonderful connections! Whether being in the Business world for 17 years, Teaching for over 20, or being a Realtor, all the positions I have worked in, have given me opportunities to help others, each in a different way, which is something I have thrived on my entire life & is truly fulfilling!
My two handsome sons are grown & I have been blessed with a gorgeous grandson! I love family dinners, going out with friends, music/dancing, the Beach, Baseball/going to Rays games, baking, crafts, Dogs/animals and now, playing with my precious grandson!
