Jeff Larsen

I grew up in Yankton, SD and graduated from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD. My passion for real estate began in Kansas City in 1998 when I took a job with a home builder. The process of creating new communities and witnessing the excitement of the families purchasing homes in those communities sparked my interest in all thing's real estate. Looking for a new adventure, I relocated to Denver in 2000 and after gaining some invaluable experience working in finance and as a real estate appraiser, I started a remodeling company focusing on both residential remodeling and fix-and-flip projects. This wide range of experience allows me to see real estate transactions from many different perspectives and to create a style of doing business that focuses on each of my client’s unique needs.

My background in remodeling gives me a huge advantage when helping my clients prepare their properties for sale. I know how get the best return on your investment and can recommend often small and inexpensive updates that will make a huge impact on your bottom line. I use a professional photographer to take amazing photos and market my listings through several websites. I use this same expertise to help buyers see the future potential or existing value in a home.

I have a strong family connection to the Black Hills. My grandparents visited Sylvan Lake for their honeymoon in 1949 and fell in love with the Black Hills, returning many summers with their children, grandchildren and now great-grandchildren. They even owned a hotel in Custer for many years. The amazing beauty of this special place made my family want to call it our home!
