Jeff Similien is a licensed commercial real estate broker, cannabis entrepreneur, and community builder with more than a decade of experience across Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, and Georgia. He has successfully brokered multimillion-dollar transactions with major brands including NASA, Dunkin’ Donuts, Papa John’s, Verizon, and Boost Mobile—while championing small business owners by helping them access spaces traditionally out of reach. His mission is to provide hardworking entrepreneurs with legitimacy and ownership in a system often designed against them.
As the founder of LowKey Dispensary—one of Boston’s only Black-owned, Economic Empowerment cannabis retailers—Jeff brings deep expertise in real estate, zoning, and construction to the cannabis industry. He also leads educational initiatives, having taught real estate and cannabis business courses at Harvard Business School, Suffolk Law, and Clark University.
Jeff is also the founder of Kings Amongst Kings, a movement dedicated to empowering Black men through mental wellness, financial literacy, and leadership. His work has earned multiple honors, including the 2024 Trailblazer Award from Northwestern Mutual, the 2022 BIPOC Cannabis Leadership Award, and an appointment to Boston’s Black Men & Boys Commission by Mayor Michelle Wu.
