Jessica Branson

Jessica Branson, a razor-sharp realtor® at Compass, is unstoppable. She has secured hundreds of millions in closed transactions for her clients and is constantly rated in the top 1% of San Francisco Realtors.

Jessica moved to San Francisco in 1994 from Chicago, where she was born and raised. She was attracted to the City’s natural beauty and free thinking. She worked in CD-ROM publishing and quickly moved to the web – CNET hired her in 1997 as an editor. In the middle of her twenties, she got wind that the 2-unit building she lived in the Inner Mission was going to go on the market – she told her property owners she wanted to buy it. She and her boyfriend (now husband) each produced $10K, and they purchased the duplex in 1997 for $246K. They then purchased their home in Bernal Heights, keeping the Mission building and continuing to be property owners. In 2005, Jessica was the youngest female VP at CNET managing a multi-million-dollar P&L and dozens of people and projects to success. She was ready for a change and turned to her passion: real estate. They sold the Mission duplex for a 300% profit and traveled for 5 months across Europe and Russia. When she returned, Jessica got her real estate license and began selling. In her first year practicing real estate Jessica was Rookie of the Year – selling more residential real estate than 100’s of other new agents. Now, years later, she is at the top of her field. Jessica is well-versed in tenant/property owner issues, the best ideas for renovations, TICs, multi-unit investment properties, condos, and single-family homes. Jessica lives in Bernal Heights and owns a multi-unit building in Noe Valley.

Jessica is married to a French/American journalist, and they have two children, who attend French American International School. With busy lives, they still manage to enjoy some of their passions – like traveling, reading, and staying on top of the local culinary scene.
