An Ombudsman is an official representative of the Commanding Officer and plays a vital role in establishing and maintaining current and accurate communication between the command and its family members. She was selected by the CO and served the role as ombudsman while her husband was deployed. This role allowed her to help the spouses adjust to deployment and in turn, strengthened her communication and leadership skills.

Her family and her invest in rental properties in Hampton Roads including single-family homes, new construction, and fixer uppers. It was an absolute pleasure to have Jessica as my realtor. The time frame that I was looking to purchase a home was not the best; the market was horrible, interest rates rising and inventory was at an all time low. However, that was the situation that I found myself in at the moment. Jessica helped me navigate it the best way possible. Jessica was very patient with me as I knew what I wanted in a home and wasn’t willing to settle on just anything that came along. She was always available when a house I was interesting in came on the market and got me in the same or next day to view it. She even went and viewed a house for me while I was away for a week and sent me a lot of pictures so that I could make a well informed decision without even seeing it firsthand. While looking at a house, Jessica was never pushy and always had good insight and vision to whether or not it was going to be a good fit for me. I always felt like I was viewing a house with a friend as opposed to a real estate agent. I would highly recommend Jessica if you are in the market to purchase a new home.
