Being in the armed service, it can be very stressful finding a place as I have discovered. Didn’t know where to start looking, until I walked into Mr Hayden’s office. Jimmy Hayden is a great realtor. I recently used his services to find a new home. Jimmy went above and beyond to find possibilities that fit my desires. After checking out a few current places, Jimmy told me he had a new build coming up. The prices being asked for older homes in my desired area was equivalent, if not more, than the cost of a brand new home. It was a no brainer. I told Jimmy I wanted to pursue the new build. When we needed to hire a contractor to remove and clean out garages, sheds, and finally last home items, he recommended a person that was absolutely fantastic. Jimmy was always available when needed, gave good advice on how to prepare home for sale, priced the home appropriate to the time frame needed for sale, and guided us through negotiations and settlement with confidence. When a valve broke in the house between moving out and settlement, detected by a passer-by, Jimmy was on the scene quickly, reached out to us immediately, turned off the well, cleaned up water leak, arranged emergency plumbing repair, and helped manage the whole process for arranging repair estimates and coordinating help. Great management of the process from engagement through settlement. Highly experienced, very helpful, and highly recommended.

Jimmy Hayden went above and beyond what realtors usually do. We were already in Alaska so everything had to be done long-distance. He sent all the necessary documents via dotloop and all our signatures were gotten by that means. But, beyond the standard, Jimmy answered the phone when we called with questions. In this day and age of answering services and phone trees, he actually picked up the phone himself. And when, just before closing, we had a plumbing crisis (broken pipe) that sent water flooding downstairs onto a hardwood floor, he immediately called us to let us know of the emergency and went to the house and shut off the well pump. He arranged for a plumber and someone knowledgable to repair the drywall and paint. We truly could not have done this without his help - and he was there every step of the way, offering help, advice, and support.

We highly regard Jimmy Hayden and recommend to anyone in need of a realtor in Southern Maryland.

We started working with Jimmy at the start of the year. He helped show us some great and affordable houses and made going to viewings a breeze. When we set our hearts on a new build he made sure to be there for all our meetings with the builder and would point out things id never heard of or wouldn't have thought to think of myself. He would ether answer my calls or get back to me super fast when id have questions or worries about some facet of the house. We hired an inspector and he would help with our walks and point out stuff that even the inspector hadn't seen ahead of time. There were a few times parts of the home weren't spected out correctly and he helped advocate for me to the builder to see they got fixed in enough time to not effect closing. When it came time to buy he sat with us at closing and was a third set of eyes looking over the documents and would help to explain anything I wasn't sure of. 10/10 would work with him again!

There are not enough words to describe what a sincere and positive pleasure and experience it was for me to choose Mr. Jimmy Hayden to be my realtor estate agent and working with such a wonderful and intelligent man. Jimmy Hayden did an outstanding job for the sale of my parents home that I helped coordinate with Jimmy. He provides personalized service, made suggestions that improved the appearance of the house before showings. He did the appropriate market research and recommended a house selling price that was appropriate. Jimmy received and presented us with multiple contracts in less than two weeks. The house was sold (ratified contract) in just over 14 days to one of the couples that viewed the house the first week. Settlement went very smoothly and quickly, in three weeks after contract signing. The entire experience with Jimmy was great and he is highly recommended.

I decided it was time to stop renting and I called Jimmy at O'Brien Realty. He started with showing me an app that would let me know what's for sale and away we went. It wasn't as easy as I had thought because it seemed that every house I looked at had 2 to 3 offers within 48 hours. Five plus stars for Jimmy Hayden! He helped us sell a particularly complicated property that had been bequeathed to our parish. The owner's father has unknowingly failed to pass one of the parcels to his son which caused considerable confusion as to how many acres were truly included. It took considerable work to figure out what had happened, but Jimmy worked through it, found a buyer and closed the deal for us. I'd work with Jimmy again in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone looking for a realtor!
