A 26-year real estate veteran, Jo Reid is an experienced, savvy and high-energy Realtor who has been recognized as a top producer throughout her career. Her hands-on methodology enables her to guide her clients through every step of the buying and selling process, which begins with listening to their wants and needs. Once Jo has a solid understanding of her clients’ goals, she implements a plan to find them a home that enables them to live their desired lifestyle.
Many of Jo’s clients hire her for her resourcefulness and focus in achieving their goals. She takes the time to educate her clients by showing them market data, answering their questions and providing recent examples of sales and successes. Her clients appreciate that she is compassionate and caring, while also skilled at understanding their preferences and negotiating on their behalf.
Catering primarily to clientele in the luxury market, Jo specializes in working with buyers and sellers in the areas of the Museum District, West University, Memorial, Tanglewood, Rice/Medical Center, Midtown, Memorial Park and Bellaire. As a current resident and owner of a high-rise unit, Jo loves the high-rise lifestyle and enjoys helping her clients elevate their living situation.
Coming to real estate from a background in human resources and marketing, Jo provides excellent customer service, follow-up and relevant advice to her clients.
Raised in the Brenham area of Texas, Jo is from a family of educators. She attended the University of Texas and graduated in three years. She also completed graduate work in human resources. Her love of learning has carried through to her real estate career where she is a graduate of the Realtor Institute and is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. She also holds the designations of Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Certified Negotiation Expert and Accredited Luxury Home Specialist.
Outside of real estate, Jo volunteers at all levels. She has served as president of the governing board for The Women’s Home, has chaired several luncheons and galas, is a docent for Bayou Bend and an active supporter of the Museum of Fine Arts and its Contemporary Collectors, and is an active member at Chapelwood United Methodist Church.
