Joann believes that moving is one of the most stressful experiences a person can undergo. She can attest to this, having bought, and sold a total of twelve times. Throughout her journey into adulthood, Joann's concept of home changed frequently, adapting to evolving circumstances. After a 13-year period of city living with a weekend retreat in the Poconos, Joann and her family decided that Northern Westchester would be a more convenient choice for a second home given their busy lifestyle. They packed up their Poconos house and ventured about an hour North of the city in search of a new weekend escape. Two months later, Joann found herself packing up their city apartment, realizing they had discovered their full-time forever home in Pound Ridge, New York.
Joann and her family fell in love with Pound Ridge and the surrounding towns of Northern Westchester due to the perfect blend of natural beauty, tranquility, vibrant arts and culture, excellent dining, shopping, and recreational opportunities—all within easy proximity to the city for work or leisure. With three dogs, two Goldens and a Shih Tzu, and frequent visits from children and grandchildren, Joann cannot imagine a better place to live.
Following a successful 20+ year career as a Project Manager for high-profile commercial real estate clients in NYC, Joann decided to pursue her dream job in residential real estate. Her professional background equipped her with the necessary skills and experience to seamlessly transition into this new field. Joann chose to align herself with William Raveis due to the company's implementation of the latest technology-driven marketing systems, enabling her to stay at the forefront of the market and provide the best advice and effective outreach for her clients.
Beyond her professional qualifications, Joann has developed an intuitive sense of the importance of listening and investing herself in the emotionally charged and financially significant process of buying or selling a family home. She understands that this experience is personal and challenging, and she is dedicated to guiding clients through this sometimes-difficult journey.
Whether it is up-sizing, downsizing, making a lifestyle change, or just contemplating the idea, Joann encourages starting a conversation to explore the possibilities.
