About JoAnn

Joann Lomeda knows firsthand that buying or selling a home can be a highly personal and emotional decision. That experience puts her in a prime position to provide her clients not only with the technical assistance necessary but also the care and compassion they may need throughout the process.

Some of that care comes from the years Joann spent in customer service. After earning her degree in business management, she began her career as a legal assistant for Bank of America and was later employed at an architectural firm that designed stores for many top brands, including Gap, Banana Republic, and W Hotels. Originally from Sacramento, Joann eventually relocated to Atlanta to manage the business of an independent window treatment contractor for JCPenney, Costco, and Lowes. During her tenure there, Lowes awarded her business top producer status in the entire state of Georgia. Joann’s career granted her hands-on experience in business management, with a heavy emphasis on communicating and negotiating with clients and customers. Her interest in helping people attracted her to real estate, and her professional background made it a practical choice. Once Joann earned her license, it wasn’t long before she successfully closed on a double-ended transaction.

As much as Joann loves her career, she is a mother first and foremost to a beautiful daughter and son and regards raising them as the greatest responsibility of all. More than a hobby, cooking and music are Joann’s therapy. She attended culinary school and loves to share her food with people, and she is the keyboardist for her church’s band. She also volunteers for her church’s youth ministry.
