Joanna Grabowski

Hi, I’m Joanna Grabowski, your guide to Chicago’s Suburbs. Over the years, I’ve lived in five different suburbs and attended Schaumburg High School, Elk Grove High School, and Harper College before earning my bachelor’s degree at UIUC. Living and attending schools in different communities has given me a true understanding of what makes each neighborhood unique and helps me match my clients with the lifestyle they’re looking for.

For nearly five years, I’ve been helping clients buy and sell homes, with more than 75 successful closings. I recently joined the Sarah Leonard Team at Legacy Properties, one of the top real estate teams in the country, selling over 600 homes each year. This allows me to bring even more resources and expertise to the people I serve.

I’m only in my early 30s and I’ve already been through three home renovations myself. Those experiences taught me what really matters in a solid home. While decor and finishes can always be changed, it’s the structure and soundness of the house that truly count, many of which can be spotted with the right eye before inspections. I always tell my buyers not to fall in love until we have the keys and, at the very least, the inspection is complete, because peace of mind matters most. And beyond the house itself, the location matters most. Finding the right community, close to work, with great parks, local events, and hidden gems, makes all the difference in truly feeling at home.

My mission is simple: to make the buying or selling process as smooth and stress-free as possible while keeping my clients’ goals at the center of everything I do.
