Jocelyn Daluz

Jocelyn is our office Broker and a well-known real estate leader on the South Coast. She’s also a serial entrepreneur who, while managing the demands of raising a large family, always managed to create her professional opportunities and put 110% into whatever she does. In the 1970s, it was the clothing business. In the early 1980’s she was a successful ice cream business co-owner. In the 80s, Jocelyn was introduced to the real estate business, and it has been loved ever since, even considering the often 7-day work week.

Before establishing Demakis Family Real Estate with her son Chris, Jocelyn participated in several other real estate businesses over her 30-year career in the South Coast real estate marketplace. Most recently, working at Bold Moves real estate, where she was a top producer. Jocelyn was the previous President of Water Street Realtors. Before Water Street, Jocelyn honed her real estate sales and marketing skills for over two decades for two leading national real estate franchise systems in Mattapoisett. In both instances, she achieved national recognition as a “Top Producer,” often repeatedly leading her office in sales.

Jocelyn has lived in the South Coast community and is well-known in the real estate and local business community. Her constant networking is behind much of the success her business has enjoyed. Jocelyn is well-versed across a spectrum of real estate transactions, mainly marketing high-end and waterfront properties. She is a graduate of the Waterfront Historical League’s Realtor Program, which has earned her the designation of “Historic Home Specialist.” She is a member of the Realtor Association of Southeastern Massachusetts (RASEM), the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. She is a former Director for the Greater New Bedford Board of Realtors (now RASEM).
