I am a first time home buyer and having Joel on my side was the best part of the whole process. After going through about 4 realtors and walking through about 5 horrible houses each one of them never had one negative thing to say about a house and it felt like they just wanted me to buy something so they can move on. But once we met Joel, he was extremely honest about each house and had so much attention to detail that it felt like he was honestly looking at each house as if he was making the purchase for himself. Up until meeting him I was stressed and felt like every realtor and lender did not have my best interest. He was extremely professional and was available whenever I had questions. Another thing that was so unique was after talking with so many realtors I told them exactly what kind of home I was looking for and each realtor would just send me countless emails of every single home that came on the market and tell me "hurry this home won't last" which was overwhelming and not helpful at all but Joel was the first one to send recommendations that actually fit. He was the first one to tell me please don't buy this house its not a good deal. Before we saw a house you could tell he had done his homework and knew what he was talking about. Even after finding a house he made sure everything I originally asked for was repaired or in the final contract before closing when I was thinking of waiving things or just agreeing to them. I think the most important thing about working with him is knowing you are having someone who literally has your best interest in mind. I love the house he was able to get me and if I could buy another one just to work with him again I would.

Joel helped guide us through the purchase of a home in Norfolk. He was very professional, knowledgable and helpful. He was always available to answer my questions promptly. He reviewed multiple homes for me and was able to offer information which was very useful in our final decisions. He was able to guide us through the negotiation process with the seller and kept our interests as the first priority and was not just interested in “making a sale.” After the sale was agreed and signed, he followed up to be sure everything was appropriate and in order. My partner and I were looking to purchase some income producing rental property throughout the hampton roads and didn't quite know where to start.
