Joel was great with us in the handling of selling our home. From the initial visit all the way through the sale - it was surprising easy, and he helped us by answering a lot of questions along the way. I thought it would be a huge hassle selling a house from doing repairs, showings, etc. Of course repairs are good, but I was surprised at just how many showings we got, and how fast we got multiple acceptable offers! It was probably harder chosing which offer to accept than it was to go through the process of getting things ready for showings! If you are looking for an agent who will work with you, and help make small suggestions along the way to help you get the price you think your home is worth - use Joel! (Once our neighbors saw how fast our home sold, and asked us who our realtor was - they contacted Joel and used him to sell their home as well!)

I don't often post 5-star reviews, I'm hypercritical and typically feel that there's something additional that could be done. This is not the case with Joel. He helped us sell our previous home and purchase our current home. He walked through all the things we needed to do to stage our home, but kept our out-of-pockets costs low. We ended up receiving offers that were 10% over our list price!
When we were looking for homes to purchase, Joel protected our interests by pointing out things in the houses that would potentially cause us problems down the line. He did not try to pressure us to buy a home simply so that he could make money off of us. He coordinated the purchase process so that it was easy for us and he did the heavy lifting. Not to mention, we were the rare exception in this market - we didn't pay any closing costs out for pocket for either transaction! All because of Joel.
If you're looking for an agent who will conduct himself with integrity and keep your best interests at the forefront (and even have some fun while doing it all), do yourself a favor and work with Joel!
