Originally from Wisconsin, Joelle made New York her home 20 years ago and fell in love with the cultural riches of New York City and holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Visual Arts, as well as a Masters of Arts in Art History from SUNY Purchase with a focus on Contemporary Art. Prior to joining The Lydia Sussek Team she worked as a real estate sales professional with a successful Manhattan residential practice. Before real estate, Joelle was a Fine Arts Specialist servicing high net worth collectors as a buyers advisor on collections ranging from $1.5 million to $2 billion in value, she appraised art for insurance companies, and also supervised major projects overseeing the restoration of high end works of art.

Joelle’s background in the arts makes her excellent at visualizing space and assisting our buyers to envision new possibilities, as well she has developed the experience and ability necessary to accurately assess the value of a property, and help clients manage the many hurdles that must be overcome in order to see a transaction through to the closing and beyond.
