JOEN BRUNET RIVERA

Originally from Puerto Rico, Joen moved to Jacksonville, Florida with her family, after Hurricane Maria; while she was still finishing her Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. This degree, coupled with her Masters of Science in Office Administration, which she accomplished in the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico - Ponce, PR, this has provided her with valuable skills that she uses in her starting real estate career. She uses her skills in management and business to educate homebuyers and sellers, to help renters find a comfortable place, and for you to make smart choices while investing in real estate.

Joen knows two languages, Spanish being her mother tongue since she lived for over 30 years in Puerto Rico where she was born and raised. And, English is her second language which she learned when she moved to Florida in 2017. Joen is often described as a perfectionist, organized, loving, and friendly. She is also a dedicated mother and wife to her 19 years old daughter, Fabiola, her husband Jose, and her two winner dogs, Hershey's and Caramello.

After living for many years in Puerto Rico, Joen moved to Florida so not only she but her family had a better opportunity in life. She wanted her daughter to go to a good University and she wanted to achieve the “American Dream” which she achieved last summer when she bought her own home with her husband, Jose. After working hard and saving for 3 years, in a foreign place, they bought a beautiful property with the Team that she works with today. Now that she bought her property she can continue doing things she loves in a much more comfortable way like watching movies with her family, making meals with her daughter, going on walks with her dogs, and cycling with her husband during her free time. Which were once complicated to do as she used to live in not such a comfortable place, but now she has a home and there is no place like home.
