About John
John has spent over half of his life in Arizona, the past 18 years in the Northeast Valley. After moving to Tucson as a kid and graduating from the University of Arizona with an Engineering degree, he lived in Denver, Milwaukee, Seattle (where he met his wife), and Northern California. Upon taking a role that could be based anywhere in the West, he returned home to the desert. After a few years, in different roles, he faced the choice of relocating again or making a career change. He enjoys living here far more than working for his previous employer and ended up in real estate.
He prioritizes money to the extent it provides security, opportunities, and experiences for his family (his wife and 2 daughters), but he doesn’t define success by transaction volume. He defines success by the value he delivers, one client at a time. The future of electric power transmission wasn't the only thing that he thinks George Westinghouse got right: “The value of something isn't what someone. He has a boutique practice focusing on residential real estate representing buyers, sellers, and investors. He strives to provide client value, with financial success a by-product of that value. He has no aspirations to be a transaction factory getting clients in and out the door like an assembly line, and he does not manage his business like a publicly traded corporation; been there, done that, not going back. Think more Jerry Maguire, and less McDonald's. ??'s willing to pay, but the value of something is what it contributes.” John's knowledge and time are his only tangible professional assets. So long as he perceives that they are valued and not being wasted, you will get as much of both as you need. That assumes he believes your goals are realistic in the current environment.
John loves real estate because he is fascinated by game theory, enjoys engaging in situational tactical strategy, and believes he has developed a strong aptitude for it. He will be an advisor that offers his professional opinions and the basis for them. He is much more analytical than most in the field; this is, at least in part, a significant financial investment, after all! That said, the ultimate decisions to be made will be yours; it is your money and happiness at stake.
