John graduated from the University of Georgia in 2013 with dual degrees in real estate and business management, but his career in real estate started much earlier. As a high school senior in 2007, he joined one of Middle Georgia’s leading residential brokerages as an office assistant. Over the next year, John worked his way to becoming the broker’s personal aide, where he assisted with company and listing marketing, contract processes and client coordination. More importantly, he fell in love with real estate.
John earned his sales license in 2010 and in 2011, he joined Keller Williams Realty in Athens, GA while completing his undergraduate degrees. He served as an agent assistant to one of the top-producing agents in the Athens market and later became a buyer’s agent, where he exclusively represented buyers’ needs in real estate sales. In September 2014, he transferred to Keller Williams Realty Peachtree Road and founded J. Bowden & Associates.
In his first full year, he was inducted into the Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club, which recognizes the top 15% of producing agents per the Atlanta Board of REALTORS® and maintained a high level of market production ever since.
In 2016, John earned my Georgia broker’s license and in 2018, he joined Harry Norman, REALTORS®, Georgia’s oldest and one of Atlanta’s most respected real estate brokerages.
