A native of the mountains of North Carolina, John is originally from Asheville. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1990 with a BA in Psychology, he started his career in real estate and immediately fell in love with the business. His dedication to his work is illustrated through his further education: He obtained the professional designations of Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) early in his career. Additionally, he has served the Board of Realtors on both the Public Relations and Grievance Committees.

John has called the Palm Beaches home for several years, motivated by a fondness for the area and its diversity. Eager to work with people of all types and financial levels, John works closely with buyers to carefully determine their needs and guide them through every step of the purchase process, from finding the right neighborhood to negotiating a fair deal. Sellers who work with John enjoy effectively marketed properties, the most qualified buyers, and the best possible prices.

When he’s not hard at work, John enjoys fishing, golf, SCUBA diving, skiing, traveling and fine dining. He also is a member of Bear Lakes Country Club, Ocean Reef Club, Palm Beach Yacht Club, and Biltmore Forest Country Club.

John has nearly 30 years of real estate experience and more than $300 million in sales. He has led his office insales and has consistently been a top producer throughout his career. John feels that time is everything in this business: He does not give unrealistic expectations, and he doesn’t get paid until a property closes.
