About John D.

Damian has lived and worked in Sussex County for close to 30 years. Along with his wife Stefanie, they have raised 2 daughters and owned & operated successful businesses.

He came from Ireland in the early 1990s and worked in the food and beverage department at Crystal Springs Resort before opening his first restaurant in 2001. Ryan's Kitchen was located at the base of the Ski Slopes and specialized in home cooking.

In 2007, Damian helped design and oversaw the construction of the highly successful Irish Cottage Inn Bar & Restaurant located on Route 23 in Franklin. He operated the Cottage for over 15 years where they became an important business and community gathering place for the surrounding community.
