About John

With more than 25 years of involvement in Sacramento area civic and real estate circles, John and his wife, Marcie, purchased in 2012 a second home in the Santa Barbara community of Montecito. He combined his talents as a licensed real estate broker to become associated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in both the Sacramento Sierra Oaks and Montecito offices, specializing in high-end residential properties.

Prior to his work in real estate John was an attorney actively practicing in the San Francisco and East Bay areas with a focus on family law and residential real estate. He turned his lifelong interest in aviation into a business opportunity, becoming President and Chief Executive Officer of the Sacramento Jet Center, a business aviation service enterprise. He sold his interest in 2003 and centered his energy on the renovation and reconstruction of high-end homes in the Sacramento area communities of Sierra Oaks, Wilhaggin and Carmichael. With his background as an experienced lawyer John took the California State Broker examination in 2009 and became active in the business in 2010. He added the Santa Barbara area to his circle of interest after acquiring a second home along Montecito’s East Valley Road.

John’s participation in volunteer community activities is demonstrated by the twelve years he served as a trustee of the Sacramento Country Day School, his fundraising efforts for KVIE Public Broadcasting Service, and his seat on the House Committee of the venerable Sutter Club of Sacramento with responsibilities for the renovation, preservation and maintenance of the iconic club facilities.

Having qualified for membership in Coldwell Banker’s exclusive circle of highly productive agents, The International President’s Elite, John is now in the enviable position of representing as a Luxury Property Specialist buyers and sellers in Sacramento and Santa Barbara. John is a member of both the Santa Barbara and the Sacramento Association of Realtors.
