John Ladky

Please welcome John Ladky to Compass! John has been a licensed agent in Georgia since 1985 and was associated with his prior firm for over 25 years where he was the top agent numerous times over the years earning the lifetime achievement award in 2016. He brings energy and enthusiasm to Compass profession serving long term clients, as well as a new generation of buyers and sellers. He especially enjoys sharing his experience working with first-time buyers.

John lives in Sherwood Forest, an in-town Atlanta neighborhood next to the Ansley Country Club, where he is an active member. He has lived in the same home for over 30 years, which has been the site of several house tours benefiting Atlanta nonprofit organizations. A feature of the home is a competition 25-yard pool which reflects his interest in swimming. John reactivated his college sport and participates in masters swimming with the ART Swim Club based at the former Olympic Pool at GA Tech. Since John started selling homes in Sherwood Forest in the early 1990s, he has witnessed prices rising from under $200,000 to well over two million dollars. He is proud to have been a big part of the real estate saga in Sherwood Forest and has been the number 1 producer in this neighborhood year after year.

Education combined with experience makes John a thoughtful choice for clients. After graduating from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, John received a law degree with an emphasis on real estate contract law from Marquette University in Milwaukee. He understands the countless number of contract forms and the intricacies of the contract process. He also has a background in home construction from his partnership in Pelham Properties, an Atlanta home builder of luxury homes in the in-town neighborhoods.
