To give you a back ground of my past business performance, in the last 10 years I have been involved with sales, management, marketing, and business ownership. The first company I started working for in my college years was a phone company called MCI. I worked as a telemarketer until I moved up into the management role, where I managed 18 employees for four years. I reached the top sales on a personal level, then reached the top performing manager sales level many times.
Into my early twenties, we relocated due to our parents health and purchased and operated a florist and design company, which was failing when we purchased it. Six years later through my leadership, sales, and management skills, I sold it for two and a half times what I bought it for, tripled our sales, and won small business of the year through the chamber of commerce.
On a personal note, I have been very competitive my whole life, even now as a real estate agent in the Sunny Southwest Florida market. I grew up playing sports and went to college in Chicago where I played basketball for four years.
